Each year as the cold winter hints at loosening its grip, the executives at iPura are hunkered down in preparation for North America's largest seafood tradeshow in Boston. Attended by thousands of visitors and exhibitors from 90 countries, the International Boston Seafood Show is a showcase for new products, trends and companies that shape the way Americans consume fish. Aside from the multi-million dollar deals and festive air, the cavernous Boston Convention & Exhibition Center fills with the aromas of exotic dishes and more flavor down each aisle than you'll find in a popular restaurant.
Visit us in Booth 2365 this year where we will once again be serving fish tacos in corn tortillas and a surprise treat, and of course, sharing what makes iPura's Food Safety & Quality Assurance Program unrivaled in the industry. We're unveiling a new look this year, but here's our booth from last year's show.
We will be live-tweeting from the floor for the third year in a row! The first year, we were among but a handful of early-adopters chirping into the webosphere; last year, the show's organizers positioned a "Twitter Screen" in the lobby live-streaming the tweets about the event, and there was a fair amount of participation. This year, we expect an even greater outpouring of content and passion for telling the surprisingly wonderful story of seafood.
As you may know, we have been reviewing Boston food bloggers in a series of short reviews, "100 Boston Food Bloggers." Impressed by their talent and the community as a whole, we have been inspired to create a contest to coincide with the Int'l Boston Seafood Show.
